The Wife He Forgot To Divorce (Paperback)

Her divorce was final. The court record said otherwise.

Nia Bennett has rebuilt her life on facts she believed were settled. Her marriage to Darius is over. Her business is thriving. And in thirty-eight days, she plans to marry Adrian Cole.

Then a routine marriage-license appointment reveals the impossible:

According to the State of Illinois, Nia is still married to her ex-husband.

What begins as a missing divorce record quickly leads to a forged decree, a company secretly registered in Nia’s name, and a trail of stolen identities stretching back to her father. Darius concealed dangerous truths inside their marriage. Adrian entered her life carrying secrets of his own. Both men insist they were trying to protect her.

At the center of it all is Victor Langston—a powerful businessman determined to recover the evidence that could expose seventeen years of fraud. And Nia may be the only person who knows where it is.

With her freedom, business, family, and future in the crosshairs, Nia must uncover the truth without surrendering her choices to either man. Because correcting the record may cost her everything—and surviving the lie is only the beginning.
